Cant install post install root patch. Keep getting:

Reason for Patch Failure (71):
No variant specified, falling back to release
No variant specified, falling back to release
Error Domain=KMErrorDomain Code=71 "Unable to resolve in hot dependencies: 'com.apple.GeForceTesla names a dependency on 'com.apple nvidia, classic. NVDAResmanTesla', which was not found." I've tried switching to AMFI OCLP. Same result. I also tried using MountEFI.command from github
SOURCE: https://github.com/corpnewt/MountEFI to delete everything in the EFI partition and try again with an OCLP reinstall. Still get the same exact error code and dialogue as listed above

Any ideas?

Solution: Old kexts not compatible. Need to remove them from /Library/Extensions. Boot safe mode. Remove all except these 3: /Library/Extensions/HighPointIP.kext
/Library/Extensions/HighPointRR.ktext
/Library/Extensions/SoftRAID.kext Apply root patch, reboot.
