Hi, I've a 2011 MBP that I've done a fresh install of Monterey using OCLP. I'm able to go through setup and subsequent reboots, but right before it does its final boot to the desktop post-install, I get a kernel panic. I've tried installing on drive formatted as both APFS and HFS+, and I've tried recreating OCLP on the USB several times. No matter what, I get the same result.

The same issue occurs in Big Sur too. Just wondering if anyone has any ideas. I've tried enabling debug logging etc, but the OC logger doesn't appear to be recording the kernel panic.

Try swapping your RAM chips

This sounds like it's not a software issue

It runs any other version of macOS just fine and never had an issue. I was using Catalina via dosdude's patcher up to this point. OCLP installs Big Sur/Ventura just fine but cannot boot it in the end, so definitely doesn't indicate RAM as being an issue.
