I feel like there should be a separate role that serves as a notification subscriber feature. Currently the recent channels (#📢┃announcements #📆┃events_somnium #🍻┃events_community) have used @ VR Plataform role ping, which makes all VR Platform users gets all types of notifications. As a growing platform this may be good, but I think this will going to give uncomfortable experience for some selective user (like me). As someone who have joined a lot of servers in dc, this makes me just disable the server notification as a whole.

To counter and improve this, I suggest adding a different roles for notifications. Those who wants a platform update notification will going to add themselves a role for that, and ETC. You can also have the other notification roles that can be used in some automated channels (ex: #🌐┃worlds_pulse , which the bot updates what world has been updated or added). If there was a notification role for this, then someone who has interest in looking for new worlds in Somnium can also have the notification.

Please kindly review this suggestion and improve the UX. TY

But atm we dont have different roles for pinging, we atm only use VRplatform role or VR1 role.
We are not going to add new roles yet, but this is a future idea yes

The reason why we don't do it yet is because we want everyone to know what is going on, as we're still a small platform with not a mass users online.

Personally pinging nearly everyone in general channel seems like a really weird idea so I’d be happy to see this be implemented

The VR Platform is a ping for the vr side of the somnuime comunity Its a ping role ment to pin somnuime players that we are up to somthing and haveing fun.
