Hey! I'd like to suggest allowing the creation of threads in review channels such as #portfolio-reviews and #resume-reviews.
Currently, when someone gives feedback/advices, it tends to drown other requests - especially if the feedback is lengthy or there's some back and forth. This often result in some folks' request being lost and never receiving the help they seek.
Having threads (or even a post format like this suggestion box) for review channels would allow for longer, deeper conversations/assistances without drowning others who seek help.

bit from other side of a person who gives the feedback from time to time:
surely those channels can get bit flooded by answering specific person and it might be nice to have it more directed into threads or post and might get some person missed out (and there is nothing wrong to remind of your own case in such situation)

tho keep in mind that there are often things that are quite universal and might help a new person to work better on their resume or portfolio to better point long before they would post their own to review,

so when at one hand having 'subchannels' (be it thread or post format) that are kind of hidden in discord are gonna help to provide more detailed in-person feedback, but also having more drive into those might make it bit hard to get information about building resumes (or portfolio etc) that might be way more helpful than review of their own

(or like me when I joined this server ages ago you would be 'scared' to share the resume and just scramble informations of others to work on my own lmao kermie_banjo )

Most of our members are lurkers. And we get a lot of people who only post to say thank you after they've scoured our server for info and use it to get a job. So, yes, we'll want to be careful about not hiding everything behind threads.

I think the best practise would be to respond and if the conversation takes a lot of space, then a thread can be made
