I enjoyed it a lot! Getting to change my character's headgear, as well as getting an accessory (glasses!) really went a long way compared to the GCN's "one custom pattern and the same hat forever" look. I appreciated the ability to wirelessly visit friends, but it was a little annoying because the Nintendo DS used an older wifi signal than my router, so I had to literally reconfigure the router to be less secure if I wanted to do AC:WW online. 😆

My first game was new horizons and I saw everyone saying : “I miss this from new leaf” etc etc

So, I have a modded 2DS with both the games but I wanna know :

1. is decorating big here ? As in, in acnh you have paths, cliffs, water etc and do you do that in the other games too or ?

2. Any beginner tips for me ?

3. How do villagers work here ? Do you have tickets or ?

4. And honestly any other tips / suggestions / advice is welcome and appreciated

1. You only really have your home, and in New Leaf, outdoor "public works projects" to work with in terms of decorating.
2. Earn bells early on through fishing and selling fossils (if you want to), regardless of which game
3. No tickets, I think the most you can do in terms of getting the villagers you want is amiibo, which only work in New Leaf, otherwise move-ins are random, and move-outs can be predicted, but not always stopped.
4. Just take it easy and don't rush yourself, this goes for any AC game, new or old!

Also try to talk to and help out your villagers, that's the main focus of the older games

If you want to use QR codes for paths made by other people you need to talk to Sable daily to unlock the sewing machine and have an internet connection.

Definitely remember to scan your town for perfect fruit when you start. When you start your town, its 100% guaranteed that one piece of fruit will be perfect, meaning youll make much more money from it. Make sure you plant it instead of selling, that way you can get more. Enjoy playing new leaf man, the game might lack in outside decor, but it really rocks with things to do you could only wish you had in new horizons. But it's better to discover those things slowly by yourself, so have fun exploring!

Oh, and since you mention you're getting wild world too, it's even more "lackluster" ig you can say with decor. You can get really creative with paths and whatnot, though! One thing to note is that Wild World has this st*nky feature where you can't upgrade your store to the final stage without having someone visit and buy something. This can be worked around with erm.... a hacked rom, but if you have someone to visit you locally that shouldnt be a problem. Also, the villager interactions in this game rock, possibly one of the best

Well i played NH, NL and the Amiibo Festival one and i myself think New leaf is something you shouldve played atleast once in your live its much more lively and it just Hits diffrent and its still is one of the best AC games IMO. However i cant really advise you to buy a 3DS just for NL if you want to get other games too then you should give it a try.

• if you get new leaf, happy home designer is such a good game to get bcs you can link your hhd data on new leaf and get sick stuff at the nookling shop
• tomodachi life is such an addictive game, just mucking about, making miis, helping miis, etc, tomodachi life is such a good game to get (coming from someone who, before the age of 10, already had 500 hours on it)
• miitopia is a surprisingly underrated game, it’s like if tomodachi life was an action-fantasy-thingamijig game but still keeping all of the goofiness of tomodachi life
• any pokemon game for the 3ds is PERFECT (i’d personally suggest pokemon x/y but they’re all so good)
• since the 3ds is backwards compatible with the ds, wild world is also one of my top suggestions, its such a classic animal crossing game
• nintendogs is a good shout as well, one of the most iconic games (the 3ds has its own version of it that has cats in it as well instead of exclusively dogs)

And then you get the bells for all of what you chose to sell for the the beginning

So you can just breeze through the beginning

You can choose to get it all at once or daily installments (with a 10% increase)

I personally think it is. You get all the content without in-app purchases, and you aren't limited to getting things you want only during events. The events do replay, but there is a way to get items even without doing the events and stuff. You can 100% the game through time and work instead of 7+5+3 dollars a month. what differs all the earlier AC games from each other?? like NH is a polarizing difference where it's now an island and more decorating focused, but how are, for example, wild world and city folk different?

Wild world and city folk are actually the most similar but there are a few little differences like the city in city folk where there's stores like Gracie grace, Harriet, dr shrunk teaching reactions and random villagers appearing in the plaza

TLDR: Blathers was brought up in the city with his parents and Celeste, attended univsity earning multiple degrees but not a doctorate - his professor reccomended he be the director of a country musuem which Blathers excitedly accepted despite feeling homesick.

By the time of Wild World, he is now 20 years old and full director despite his fear of bugs holding him back - which arose as a child when a mantis egg case raptured on his desk, causing thousands of mantisis to fly, terrify and traumatize him, which now causes Blathers to get PTSD everytime he sees a bug or insect.

For anyone curious about why Blathers has a phobia of bugs and insects.
