my idea was that the land you have your house, alt houses and villager houses has no other buildings, not even the town hall or stations etc, they would instead be in a town up top like in new leaf

and all the buidlings for characters like museums, the shops, the cafe etc are built there

so every day a new special character appears and you give him/her money to buid the respective buildings there in the towns emopty plot

and if you say get 10 buildings, you also upgrade the town hall to a city hall

the whole district is the town area

your land where your house and villager houses are is just for that and also for porjects like in new leaf such as wells, paths steps, etc

and furniture can also be placed in that area but the town/city is for the shops and things

so you see a special character visit, you can give hime money towards building the building he needs say brewster for the cafe, dr shurnk for the thatre etc

yes and projects

but id sya you first have to get 10 building i.e 10 special characters shops etc

then you upgrade from town to city

and you can then use either furniture or projects

its down to you how it looks

upgrading fromtown to city also gives you more space, but theres always space for all the buildings in the game

the extra space you get is mainly for customizing with furniture or projects

but basically the buidlings are in that area leaving the normal living area where your houses are etc for just projects and furniture too

so no longer will the town hall and stations and airports be on your island, theyre in that new town/city area

clearly the town center, train station and airport is what you start with so you do start with and it makes sense that nooks cranny too, but others needs building

so youd start with 4

so example youd have to wait for blathers to show up in town to give him omeny to get the museum, or sable to get able sisters etc

well buildings for things like nooks cranny etc do start small and would only cost a small amount to start and then those would upgrade

the things about nh was nooks cranny only upgraded once whereas in new leaf its can upgrade all the way to like a big shopping mart

which is another point id agree new leaf does better

It is a cartridge, and yes I have the amiibo update.
The custom design were three different kinds of stone paths I downloaded.
I dont know what went wrong, I was laying down paths for like half an hour when it happened. I laid down paths before when playing (but not as much as yesterday, but that cant be the reason can it?!) and this never happened before

Looks like something corrupted. You might’ve overloaded some random system in the game by placing too many paths, and it broke something.

I remember this one Minigame that was like... A survival kind of Minigame on the Wii U... But was brought into the Welcome Amiibo Update.

The premise was that you would use 3 villagers to survive on an island... And make them craft various items to help them survive the various conditions of the island elements... ...do any of you remember the name of that Minigame...? Because I don't.

Also another thing I remember is that like... They had hexagonal paths and a spinning wheel to determine what the outcome will be of your actions (like DnD in a sense.)

The Wii U game (Amiibo Festival) is also why there are dice numbers and Rock, Paper, or Scissors with every series Amiibo card except for RV cards and series 5.

You can't get them in newer games (because heaven forbid you get stonks from selling Perfect peaches instead of Turnips)

Bananas, too... I really miss them! Huge staple (in my opinion)
Durians and a lot of exotic fruits that I was introduced to because of a game!

I cry because of what was left behind, I won't lie.

Basic point: Animal Crossing taught me things that I personally never knew existed.

Now I am sure you are thinking "but why replace it? The update is free for vanilla New Leaf"

Few reasons!

1: the welcome amiibo update is preinstalled, I don't need to update the cartridge, saving quite a bit of storage space. Storage space is quite important!

2: In case Nintendo one day takes away the ability to download updates, they did say "for the foreseeable future", just being prepared, juuust in case! After all, if I have to get another 3DS one day, I wanna be able to enjoy it to the fullest!

yes - so basically

you scan the amiibo with wisp

they get sent to Harv's Campsite

then you can talk to them at the campsite and invite them to your town (providing its someone who can actually move there)

"It depends on the type of villager card. If they’re one of the RV amiibo cards you invite them with wisp and they appear at the RV campsite. You can then invite them to live in your town, and select who you want them to kick out.

If it’s a regular amiibo villager/card then when you invite them with wisp they appear in your towns tent campsite. From there, iirc, they will only agree to move in if your town has less than 10 villagers at the time. So you need to have room for them."

What are you having trouble with? If it’s a DS game then you need to download the correct files otherwise you can’t play them. N64 GBA and the others should work just fine and don’t require anything. I have a website where I download the games

Do NOT reset your progress if you've not played in ages, you'll only be making the game more tedious for yourself.

Not only have they added a built in guide for returning players to relearn the game with all the new stuff, but theres two monthly subscription (cheap too), that are designed for people like us to help things a LOT

One cut down crafting time to 0 seconds for EVERYTHING for me, as it cuts it down more time the longer you have owned the game

Not to mention

Both subscriptions together, I make nearly 100 leaf tickets a month

Its made the game a lot more fun

Also the happy helper part of the subscription

A camper can do tasks for you, even if you've quit the app
