I would include two sources of artificial light (on my kitchen I have soft-serv lamp close to the fridge + lampshade in a corner).I would leave the window area uncluttered. I would get a couple of kitchen rugs on the 'wet' areas of the kithen, namely in front of sinks.

@hollow dew Generally in the right direction. If you want to make it realistic a couple of changes would do a great deal. You want your kitchen to have windows (vapours, oils, general dirt when cooking), although the wallpaper is cute, if you're going for realistic feel I would recommend changing. Also, you wouldn't hang an oil painting on your kitchen wall, in real life it would get damaged in a blink, fish wall models and plants are good decor as well as anything with a practical side (think corkboard), also, every kitchen should have a wall clock. I would make the square table and the serving cart natural wood, incorporate a gas range, and try to have all the kitchen appliances white.

I crafted 18 wooden bookshelves (used 90 books and 180 woods) and then located 6 bookshelves on each of the edge of the cliffs. @exotic thunder everything is kind of grouped around the walls. Adding something like a table, sofa, and a carpet may make it look better, and more full (if your going for that look) also your furniture is a little plain and doesn’t have much character, try items bought from Nooks Cranny or customise them, there’s also a lot going on, try to be realistic in where you place items, for examples seems odd to put a sewing machine on top of your drawers, but it makes sense with the accessories stand. Another example is keeping a bug on top of a fire place. You’ll kill the poor thing. Hope that helps!

@fathom sage it looks amazing and I can definitely see what your going for, but again with the ‘being realistic’ thing, graffiti on the walls looks out of place when you think of it. It’s not unusual to have normal wallpaper in your basement! Maybe try something simple, because there’s already a lot going on in the room. Hope that helps!
