Decided to do vacation homes based off of these animals’ natural habitats. Peewee is located in a lowland tropical forest in central Africa, Elvis is located in a African savanna, and Carrie is located on an Australian outback.

You’ll get there with practice! I’d recommend (after changing room size, wallpaper and flooring) starting with the big things (such as partition walls and pillars if you have any, or really large pieces of furniture. Then move on to the smaller pieces of furniture and the miscellaneous, then finally add wall and ceiling decor to top of the room like frosting on a cake!

I did it exactly the same way, but in that room the main wallpaper is striped yellow, and the accent wallpaper is this chalk board one, I just placed the wall partitions on the right I also use columns if I need to make the part of the wallpaper that's visible more narrow, also, the wall partition placed perpendicular to a column looks better compared to two wall partitions perpendicular to each other - there is no gap with the column

You have the option “I’ve got ideas” which allows you to use your own furniture (not the furniture a villager requests to use). If you select “Let’s chat” that will allow a villager to request you have certain furniture in their home.

Also, the sign and door are a custom code that I used on the glow-in-the-dark stickers.

Personally I think it’s worth it u get to customize your own villagers houses once you design 30 homes, u get walls and pillars, soundscapes, new furniture and the designing part is pretty relaxing

Those are partition walls. You get them from the Happy Home Paradise dlc by helping Nico with making diys.

The partition walls will be whatever the main wallpaper you put up is. The chain-link fence is the accent wallpaper, which you can only put on one part of the wall. Hope this answers your question.

I'd say it's worth it if you like designing and want to go the extra mile to get more customization options for your and your villagers' homes

I personally love the DLC, I would recommend getting it or starting with it after you've finished the major part of your island so you don't get too overwhelmed with everything.
