does anyone know why this was my original island tune? i changed it yesterday and wasn’t pleased with how it sounded when talking to villagers, so i decided to change it back. I googled something like ”acnh original island tune” and found one that showed up on multiple sites, (meaning that it must be the original one since multiple sources said the same thing), so i copied it by just looking at the pic, but when i played it i didn’t recognize it. Ofc i got confused, but i thought that it probably sounds right when it’s actually used in game (talking to villagers etc), but it didn’t… Luckily i remembered my original tune and after like five minutes i managed to remake it into what i had before ever changing it. But why is mine different? sorry for the long text lol (the pic is MY original)

As for why the default is different the best answer I have is you probably messed with it earlier on and forgot about it. The default is the default for everyone and there's no variation as far as I'm aware. This looks very close to the default tune that pops up if you open the AC Tune Maker tool that's pinned in this channel, so maybe a while ago you messed with your tune and changed it to that and forgot about it?
