I just realized my campsite is waaaay too big and takes up such a large portion of the map that's otherwise pretty useless. I flattened everything a few weeks ago and I'm not sure where to put the campsite now. The top left is gonna be residential and I'm not sure where to put my house. The bottom left cliff is supposed to be where the shops go but I'm rethinking that too. Just need ideas

I really loved the idea of a lake in front of the campsite but it takes up so much room

Maybe you can merge the residential and campsite. Have the residential area be bigger and have a pathway that leads to the campsite, you don't really need a big area for the campsite as you can use a campfire, a few kids tents, and the campsite it's self and you have a decent looking camp area. You can add extra things if you want to or make it look a little better

I am getting super tired of my old island, and this is the idea I've come up with. On my old island I have the museum, Ables, and Nook's, literally all in the E4 sector. With this new design, I'll be forced to walk around my entire island, which I think will help me get more motivated to be here.

maybe decide where you want the main shops and museum, and map it out with paths (the same amount of spaces as the buildings) and then decide whether you want to make a little village or have your houses scattered😊 hopefully this helps a little! i also have done the right side of my island first (including the entrance and rs) and im working across, bit of a weird way to do it but its currently working for me!

i recently unlocked terraforming but idk what to do with my island- any ideas?

you can add a bunch of cliffs in random places and plant flowers on there, i did that to seperate off some sections

i did it in rows with spaces in the middle and put a fence between them

what should i do with the rest of my island? i still need an area for my shops and villagers but i cant seem to fit it into this naturally

I've noticed with this game, you can never center anything. My secret beach stairs go east to west instead of north to south. Just a thought for you. you could center it if you dubled it up i think

So when you go through the options, you should be able to select "a house" or something, then you should be able to talk to the person about moving the house.

Have you tried youtube? I can see what pieces they use here if you want to know that, but that's about all I can tell you xD
there's bunk beds as the "railing" behind nd the first set of simple panels, the antique clock in the top center, the Pisces lamp in the middle, fireplaces turned around on the middle second story, and of course the fencing in the front. It's all a layered optical illusion.
