So I really like the base dirt path but I wanna switch it up. Mostly bc I'm tired of weeds popping up on it. And no I don't want to put an invisible tile over each one. I'd rather just have a custom path or maybe use a different basic path. Any suggestions?

idk if you use weeds for decor but once you have over a set amount of weeds they don't grow on the island no more
So another option is to have enough weeds on your island to prevent them from spawning on your dirt
The cobblestone path would look nice too I think or you could continue with the path next to the dirt you have

I don't know of a max. But if you have at least 150 weeds they still stop growing.
If you don't want to risk it then I think the pattern already on the ground would work nice. If you want a build in path the cobblestone one might look nice

If you want to go with the statue, try a couple butterflies in front of the bushes right at the top of the steps so you have four instead of two
Hmm I would stick with the more green butterflies so even if you repeat models since the green butterflies aren't the spotlight here. If you wanted to make the butterflies pop more then go for the blue and purple ones

@marsh marten There are four different teacup designs which design depends on the color of the dodo airport. I would recommend putting four teacup rides with the different designs in your theme park.

sometimes having resident to close to the entrance limits the creativity of the island, and the large area allows for "begining of game" freedom. Also, the end of the lake is easier to get to? i dont really know, but theese are just my guesses @dapper hearth

Imo the RS is too far away from the airport which also makes the entrance super weird. I like the entrance kind of leading into RS, but not too close either. That gives way more room for the rest of the island

Your river doesn't have to connect. you could always have a water fall on the left one and a rive on the bottom entry point that goes further into the land. Could come out of a waterfall could just end in a lake

@real vessel I'd say that's plenty of room. It gives you enough space to add a few pieces of furniture while still being cosy 😊 I find yards that are too big are harder to decorate. Also "tree chan" is too cute 😂

@bold oar i haven’t made one before, but the magenta-ish color could be maybe purple roses, the purple could be purple hyacinths or mums and the blue could be blue roses or pansies? 
pink tulips could also substitute purple roses ^^

@hazy tinsel Gl finding that layout. Took me ages to get mine. Personally I didn't care much about pier but wanted a round peninsula and a good beach with very little rocks (or just the ones you can stand on).

@sleek lantern it really depends. I didn't have a clear plan up until a month ago, so since March I was starting something and then tearing down and doing something else and tearing that down. Now that I have a plan it's going faster, and it helps if you TT to speed up completing bridges or moving houses. You can just TT forward one day and do back, and then forward again
