hi! ive almost finished doing stuff on my island, ive mapped out the houses and all the buildings but i have extra space near my peninsula and down near my south east beach. does anybody have any ideas for me?

@woven drift I think you should choose the bridges/inclines that fit with whats around it for sure. Like I have a bamboo section of my island and I used the zen bridge, but for my town center I have the terra-cotta brick looking one

Hi everyone I just started my island and I want to make sure I have a good layout for my villager houses before i place housing slots(i have 5 rn but I’m waiting to build the campsite so I don’t get more) and I was just wondering if anyone had any good advice to help! you guys shouldn’t stress too much about not having the “perfect island/map” when there really isn’t any such thing. Just try not to discourage yourself by comparing it to others all the time or feeling you need to catch up and have everything figured out immediately

terraforming in general is honestly wonky to work with and I think most people would agree it’s annoying to use and get used to

@lofty loom I think the main thing Im seeing is it’s (IMO) too rectangular - obviously more urban areas have more rectangular terraforming but you can smooth stuff out a bit ?

@cold summit they are an item you can catolog and order. You can then customize them with custom designs and put them wherever. In this case, yes most in my pic are covering a cliff, but they are free standing :)
