If you’re making a swamp I suggest trying to add more dark things to make it seem like a swamp rather than pink flowers that make it look like a pond (no offense to pink flower lovers lol)

Oh yes! The theme is Autumn. Basically my entire island is designed to have "themes" each corner is based on one of the four seasons. Bottom left is Autumn, top left is Summer, top right is Winter, bottom right is Spring.

I currently have this purple waterfall like structure behind tge residence service. Its currently inaccesable and has nothing more than trees, flowers and such up top. Should I leave it inaccesable, seperating it from the land behint with a river at the bottom layer. Or should I make a path on the first or second layer and make it accessible?

@steel geyser for natural man made rivers i recommend starting with a straight lake and then add curves and made it wider or narrower as you go to make it look natural

@torn geode You can use planks and weeds to make it nice. If you are Northern Hemisphere the Sept. weeds look really nice.

So I started to redo that beach entrance. The first pic is before, the second is after! The holes are where I’ll put some trees.
Basically, I made the path more simple and widened the cliffs to fit more trees and decorations. Thoughts and suggestions?

I'd open a new spot for it to be able to spawn. It's possible that the last remaining spot is not allowing it to spawn so it has nowhere to spawn at all.

hi friends! i'm kinda in a design rut and am wondering if I can get some fresh eyes. I started doing some rough placements and paths but just feel like I can't commit to anything..would you flatten in this case? the only thing that's kinda set in stone (which could move honestly) is the incline and ponds to the top left of resident services. i wanted to do a little extension of the campsite to be a fishing spot (i actually really like it) but i tore down the walkway that's actually behind the campsite bc it was honestly too big
