@misty relic for a campsite it's very clean and not so wild and haphazard. Either try some weeds in select places, or if you don't want weeds maybe get a custom path that makes your paths a bit overgrown at the edges

@short harness If you want it more natural make it a more windy path, you can lead either to your RS or away from it towards something else, using the cliffs and water to line the path?

@umbral hatch i feel ya usually what i try to do for each section is to give it a few slots for the pathway and one more slot for a custom design for maybe a stall or post sign, but recently i changed my pattern to a whole pathway island pattern hope this helps this was my strat

@rocky tulip this is the best decoration I have on my island. It’s not the best looking thing but it’s functional and pretty and I enjoy going to my shops. Honestly it took a lot of me moving around the stuff haha. Agreed on the burnout tho, spend some time catching fish and wandering around your island, pick areas that are empty and just Chuck stuff down and see how it looks. Good luck!

@rocky tulip I just started working on a new island and I was super motivated but then unmotivated because how tedious to beginning stages of the game was. So I took a couple days and it helped. I didn’t play any games. I just chilled and did some paintings. Helped me relax. So find something relaxing. Stay off discord too because that stressed you out more when you see everybody else’s island. Take a few days and then get back on to be motivated!

@woven drift start in one area when redoing your island. Destroy it and move those buildings then rebuild it. It will help save bells and time.

@plain flicker that's really cool! the difference from mine is that i have a lot more elevated area. But i like what you've done. I find it hard to make nice looking areas behind "mountains" though, because it gets in front of the camera, same with trees 😛

No! Just hire someone to dig up on your flowers and plant on the beach chop down trees and dig up bushes. Then put all furniture and put in storage and then go from there and do section by section that’s what I am currently doing and it’s very pleasing once a thing is done! @woven drift

Restarting is a pain. It’s easier to just rebuild your island. I have rebuilt my island a few times, takes some patience, but eventually everything will fall into place

i was at 300hrs and i reset, its good, just a bother to transfer items you want to keep to and from another person's island
and a bother to find an island layout you like 🙄 helpful tip, look at the default layouts beforehand lol

The bags are so nice! It drives me crazy that you can’t place bags just on the ground like you can with shoes or umbrellas. So occasionally I’ll drop them in front of someone’s house and I love it

@sullen crown I don’t but this is from @ionic raft and they have a close RS. Most people use cliffs to deviate visitors away from RS and/or trees to make it seem farther
