@wet latch you should terraform cliffs and more rivers : ) like you can make a cliff and make it accessible for star gazing or make a zen garden with a massive river, bridges can stretch to five spaces and i’m using up 2 inclines and a bridge up to my museum. It’s just a matter of playing around with it since you can always demolish some things ! Hope this helped : )

If you're making an urban/city street and planning to line it with stalls, etc, I would use the custom. If you're doing a more suburban/rural road I would use the regular stone @queen current

@woven drift you can't move bridges. also if you are terraforming the water, figure out how you want to have the water then place bridges where you run through the most. ^-^

@bronze geyser I did. I like it. it makes it easier to plan what I want to do with the rest of my island. I did make their yards really big so i could give them their own yard and decorations (like 10 wide by 7 deep).

I had a residential district for a while and ended up hating it because I couldn’t get the small yards personalized enough and my villagers wouldn’t explore the island, they’d just stay there or by the plaza. So I scattered mine and am much happier now. Everyone’s different though!

@rain creek honestly the core aesthetics are pretty but can be overwhelming, and imo straight lines and symmetry are very pretty in islands! vacation resort sounds amazing, just some advice, don't make the island too flat and/symmetric, and ur pretty much good to go! remember that just bc a lot of the islands in ac are centered around core doesn't mean it's the only one that looks great!

@south oar Shops are better at the front as you'd want visitors (who you're not friends with) in the future I assume. Museum can be anywhere based on the theme of your island. Maybe look at some themes on youtube and see what you like best.

I'd reccomend making lots and lots of little areas! The more intricacy, the bigger the island feels! Also add some winding paths, to maybe get your visitors lost, but in a good way!

Hey guys! I am making an island based off of a nature preserve, so it’s very forest themed, and leaning slightly towards cottagecore. @fringe heron both of mine are on 2nd level cliffs with a 3rd level cliff behind them. they take up a lot of visual space when they're on cliffs and you walk behind them, so i put cliffs behind to make that less obtrusive
