They can be a bit tricky but same idea, just diagonal. It needs a straight edge on both ends for it to connect to

@serene yoke do you mean the land by rivers or mounds? to round something water you have to fill in the spot and then hit it once to remove the ground and it gives a rounded edge.

same principle applies to cliffs. if you hit it once it rounds it, if you hit it 2 times it takes that part down.

@latent swan mine is complicated. I have my rainbow garden close to both Marshal’s cafe and Merengue’s bakery. But behind their houses I put trees so it hid the rainbow garden. I have pictures but they show separate areas and you can’t see the garden where the two areas are but maybe it’ll help with inspo! And I split my rainbow garden up in half with half the rainbow on each side of a cliff with a walkway in the middle

@woven drift I think you've got a good start but adding a couple more items and some shrubs would help give it a little more dimension. For items you could maybe use the tourist telescope, dropped seashells, or anchor statue

@frank linden maybe some tall lanterns or cherry-blossom lanterns along the walkway? you could also add sand and garden rocks on either side and make zen rock gardens (: there's qr patterns for that as well

@wooden fiber if you can catalog a big set, even if it's really expensive, order it from nook shopping and have people catalog it for a low nmt price, that's what i did with the rattan set and now i have 100+ nmts handy most of the time

@west sparrow anything can be a theme, really (: some broad categories include forest-y /cottagecore, city/urban/european, eastern/asian, and tropical. some people also base their theme around their hobbies or favorite games/movies, so that's something to consider as well!
