@ebon palm Ken's house is very zen/asian right? You can perhaps make a teahouse/zen garden/etc to put him there (that is if it fits in your island theme). Same with Apollo but in a different area you may already have; otherwise, you can prob put both houses (1 ea.) on the left levels, but that'll require you to move the other four to make space so they're not too cramped :/

There are oases but they shouldn't be extremely large (although there are "tropical" areas in a desert). Although one thing you can do is create green areas around your rivers (land near rivers have a lot of lush vegetation, so make use of palm trees & shrubs), like in the Indus River Valley or the Nile River.

@vague loom yeah so all you need to do is put down all of the mannequins in the right spot, then wait and see if all of the rocks spawn correctly. paths only block rocks from spawning on them (other than the dirts meaning dark dirt, dirt, and sand) and the statue doesnt affect rock spawns

@keen reef Good luck, also have you tried placing your custom pattern on top of a sand or dirt path? It just makes it look more natural and allows you to curve the corners so it isn't so sharp, that's what I do :)

@rugged yacht the setup for the museum is similar to mine and I put Dino’s where you have the flowers, then I put benches in front of them, shrubs, and flowers on the sides to the stairs and another Dino up top in between the stairs. If that makes sense? But it looks good!!!

@woven drift you can move the villager homes but it’s 50,000 bells each! It would be better to have bridges and inclines and then move them where you like

@sturdy canyon With the neighborhood, I found that either my villagers have really small spaces or it took up way too much space! You could defs pull off a mixture of both!

@sturdy canyon I think a mix is good. I would pick those you think you can make a really cool themed area for and separate them and the ones whom youre less sure about you can put together. Ive got Beau, Dobie, Doc and grizzly in their own areas and the rest in 2 groups

@sturdy canyon I have 6 down Venice Canal, 2 + my own down Malibu, and 2 in themed areas (Chinatown and Little Tokyo)! I think it really depends on your theme/what you're trying to do on your island, if you want a neighborhood or if it's woodsy (scattered houses work best here) :) I like uniformity and the ease of visiting each villager, but I have a few in different locations because it fit the aesthetic and doesn't make my map look too clumped together
