@midnight jasper almost anything can be fixed on your island except the RS building and river mouths. and there's so many creative designs out there for close-in plazas / double south rivers that even those can be a non-issue once you find the right solution

@midnight jasper money can be re-made. if you restart you'll have no money, no diys, AND no fav villagers, so you're still in a better starting position now than you would be if you reset

@midnight jasper that is understandable. It’s easy to spend plenty of bells, but they’re as easy to get back. I’ve redone both islands I have so so many times, but you redo it until you like it. Not when other people like it. And since you have villagers you want, it would be tragic to try and get them again

  1. a beach area on the grass. What are some good beach paths to lay on the grass? I'm thinking of like a beach bar/surf gear checkout area. Does anyone have one they can share?
  2. In a diff part I want to do a pool area, I've seen some cool ones with a purple pool and purple Diana's tub but I don't think I can get either of those? So any pool areas that everyone can do appreciated
  3. a small cafe, I want one near a park or integrated with it, so it won't be a giant space

There's a part of my island where two cliffs are so close together that there is a 1x1 block that acts as a mini walkway before it opens up on the next block. @woven drift black streetlamps make it look a bit gloomy, not sure what theme you're going for but the purple mush lamps and black garden lanterns work really well for kind of dark foresty theme if thats what youre after

@lavish monolith I think it's really cute! my only minor suggestion would be maybe change the "ordinary" mush lamp to "white" unless you like the sort of enchanted vibe the green light gives. that's just a personal preference though, looks really good!

@zealous cloak it’s much easier to search!! If you use the search bar in the top right and click “in:island layouts” then click “has:image” then hit the space button and type what you’re looking for. So in this instance “orchard” and pictures associated or times mentioned with pictures will show up!

@shrewd condor I think it's a perfect place for it. Maybe you could add something to ease the transition, maybe a broken down stone wall or some beehives to suggest that's how the orchard is polinated Good work though.

I think the plaza and the entrance/airport are a good place to start since those don't change no matter what. You can start from there then build outwards. I personally have my homes all over the place so I can't really share a layout 😅
