@supple cipher i put my villagers into themed areas. rather than leaving them in one spot. villagers dont really have a chance to explore the rest of the island as much if they tend to group together. the only time they really explore is when they visit their neighbors or go to the buildings. but since moving from one residential area to spreading them out, ive noticed that they are exploring most of the island now.

@woven drift are you adding more stuff to that area? If not, you don’t need that much space honestly. And if you move it to the front, make a boardwalk. That’s what I did. But if you plan to keep it that size, I wouldn’t move it to the front.

@woven drift I know what you mean. Like you threw something together because it was empty. You can leave it there until you figure something out, but for aesthetic purposes, I would make it smaller and try to put something else there as well. Even a cafe or or something. Here’s my map. Maybe there’s some ideas you can put in.

@lavish monolith I don't have any pics but I was planning on using different garden rocks for the pieces, like the rock lion dog for the Knights, and maybe the zen style stone for the king or something, haven't figured it all out yet. Since an all out chess board wouldn't really fit my island theme I was gonna tie it in with my rock garden. And I was just gonna customize the different colors :)

Help me. I need some ideas for a good entrance with a resident services that isn't center with the dock. I have my central park to the right and my soon to be NMT/bells shop to the left. I want an entrance that is the wow factor with an Asian theme.
