ahhh, will you be using custom designs as your own tileset for your town? you could add things like trash cans and street lights, as for neon lights and stuff thatll be hard to achieve with the items and plants available in game. i suggest using a grey/black theme with using fences and stuff (zen fence and iron stone fence), same with flowers but too many flowers might bring a happier vibe to a town youd want to be like a city. honestly idk what to suggest because all the items are like wooden n stuff

@tribal spade i dont have a specific residential area. they are all spread out according to their house theme except 4 of them. 2 out of the 4, they have their own shop in a mini shopping plaza on the top right. and the other 2 out of the 4 are in the water bungalow area.
