@tawny sequoia Totally go and sell on others' islands, I do it all the time. I would buy in portions of 39 stacks (if you have little money, buy 39, if you have enough, buy 39+39, 39+39+39, and so on). Then I empty my pocket and I get 39 stacks and 1 pocket place is reserved for the payment. Collect enough NMTs, usually you can pay in tickets anywhere. Watch youtube for the videos on how to make 10000 nook miles in one hour (absolutely no cheating, just correct pocket organization). Then go and sale! I usually buy 39*6, so I make six trips and I have enough money to move anything.

@icy flint sadly I don't have a picture to go with it since I didn't put any houses near my campsite, but a smol thing I can recommend would be maybe a sleeping bag and the cook fire thingy near the campsite and then a small pathway leading from that to Erics house, and near erics house would be a bon fire, wild log bench, natural tables and chairs, a thing to hang clothes from and maybe even a well (so it looks like his house is a log cabin)

Now i have a whole lot of new inspiration and building my island and I've never been happier with it! So take some time, look around and just take the time to build something you're happy with, you don't have to rush!

Depends on where you start terraforming etc.. Personally i'm starting in the back so i have my shops in the front of my island for quick reach.
Another idea is knowing where you want to place them and finish that spot ASAP so you can place them on their final location already @tame crow

@storm mist looks awesome! to me the piece of land with the yellow mum on it seems out of place though, like it's just sticking out of the pathway. but otherwise good job! are you going to decorate the top of the waterfalls?

actually you know what might help, is if you make the path a little bit more angular and put the yellow mum on an island

@storm mist id personally either remove it completely or make the path 2 squares wide to match the airport ramp! up to you. you can always put more flowers up on the cliffs and maybe a few light sources?

^ i agree with this--either making the path two squares wide, or, if you like that it's one square when you enter and exit it, let it kind of widen in the middle and curve it

the problem with the yellow mum square imo is that, because it's just a straight square, it looks like kind of an odd protrusion. it would look better if it were more natural.
