Can anyone DM me some help? I'm super aggravated with my whole town. My residents don't have enough space for nice yards, I no longer like the way my island is set up, and I'm thinking of starting over. I've only been at the game for 2 weeks but I time travel a lot (always did on my Wild World) so getting bells isn't an issue for me. I just have caught rare fish from South Hemisphere and have a few residents I really like. But I also think there would be a lot of teraforming to do and a lot of 50k spend moving homes and buildings. Anyone have a similar layout to mine that can give me inspo? Or should I totally start fresh?

Unless you have a clear idea of what you want to do... I’d think hard before flattening your island. Many people do that and then become overwhelmed at where to start.

flatten island, start at entrance, wrap your way around the island, once you cover the whole island take notes of what you want to keep and clear your island then tackle it with a vision of how you wish to place your areas so they mesh

I have quite a bit of yard for each of my villagers aswell, I design the yard costum to the villagers. Stitches will have a tiny playground for example, and Julian will have it more galaxy theme. Apple will have apples. And so on.

@last mica How small of an area? picnic spots are small and cute, or could you sort of add some nature filler (if that suits your island scheme) Also I think our own islands always feel smaller than others just bc we're more familiar with them 😞

@stuck trail great suggestions--- but it's not any area in particular, I just find when I take tours that everyone's so good at compartmentalizing in an organic way with their areas, whereas mine is just blocks of areas that are * l o r g e *, even my residential area takes up so much ;; my island is mythology themed too so grand areas are my goal but it's not as satisfying
