I dont "steal" people's ideas & looks though. i just simply look at how they placed a tree next to a bush and then a rock (stuff like that). Then you can use that idea to vision your area. Doing that really helps me out ill send a few pictures i really love @sly dew

i also suggest- measuring spaces with a shovel,if you don't have paths yet, and place a fence exactly where you want the house...its easy to forget where you want a house next day just by eye-balling the space

Maybe instead of having her look for fossils, make it seem like she's an artist creating beautiful sculptures/relics? Do you have the sphinx and pyramid? Maybe give her a little worktable and some of the crafted gold items as well, and a brick oven to use as a kiln or forge?

Spent all day working on this area... i love cottagecore and wanted my island to be based around that, so i started practicing and messing with layouts a bit! hoping to add a lighthouse on top of the higher cliff, but I got the ugly white/blue one. also kinda wanna make the area between the cliffs a stargazing area, but it's super small and I don't know what else I could fit there that fits that theme. 🤔

@pure orchid You could also make a grave site with zen style stones if you have access to the diy recipe and decorate that area with white mums. Tea areas with the kotatsus and zen cushions are super cute too! You can decorate the tea area with orange trees and bamboo

So I’m trying to place bridges on two diagonals in front of my entrance and one bridge is always like half a block higher than the other. From the pictures of the only two spots I can seem to place my bridge, the top post of the other bridge is exactly in line with the top of the dirt path line. Everything is perfectly symmetrical. Is there any way to fix this? Or somewhere else I can get info?
