@night crest I haven't done it, but based on what it looks like, I think you might need to create a 3x3 spaced cliff, dig out the waterfalls, and then curve the cliffs once you're on the lower level 🤔

@frank linden when you make cliffs you need to have a space around the edge of them. That’s just how it works for some reason a bit annoying. That’s why I’m saying to extend your lower level so you can then add more cliff to your higher level which allows you to put a waterfall in

You see a lot of posts on here that start "I flattened my island and I now have no idea what to do!" Having a blank canvas can be a very daunting prospect unless you have a very clear idea of how you want to use all your space. I think it's better to work on a small section at a time and let your island grow more organically.

Currently all my villagers houses are lined up like this...but I don't like that I wan them to be all around the island. But I didn't find any good inspiration and picture on how to design the yards. I don't want them to just stand around with no decoration. Does anybody have an idea for that?

i am biased because i did dirt with mine haha. covered the dirt spots with leaves before putting the gravestones down so it looks a little more natural

I mixed the gravestones up in my graveyard, and added a flat garden rock to look like a really ancient one.
