@frosty scaffold in my opinion a good layout is one that maximizes your gameplay. do you trade a lot and have a lot of people visit your shops? make an open entrance for easy trades + put your shops near the entrance. keeping things like that in mind can give you ideas on layouts!

@hybrid dirge based on the map that you sent: for the irregular rock parts directly north of your island, you really don't need to do much so don't worry about not decorating it. the outdoor concert/cafe area on that piece of land that's jutting out might be a bit hard since it's irregular and actually quite small if you consider how a cafe/concert area is structured. If you really want a cafe/concert area, you can put it besides the museum (a cafe would be much more suited there).

@limber crater Additionally, you'll probably end up having a lot of space left over on the landmass that contains your resident services area, which gives you freedom to include whatever you want. Keep in mind that when you eventually build the stuff you have planned, you will end up with empty spaces that you can fill in with smaller amenities such as fountains or miniature parks
