@drifting light if i were you, i would move some of the villager houses to the east and southeast side of RS, and put the rest somewhere just north of RS.
Having villagers close to RS means you can see them hanging out in the town square more!

@fossil lion i think if you want a rainbow i’d suggest sectioning each area as designated color and filling them up w flowers of that color, you might have to double up on some but i think it’ll look rlly nice and also make it so your rainbow is evenly spread

Hi guys!

So I’ve been struggling on how to place my residents homes. I tried to first put them vertically, but now I’m attempting to put them next to each other (like a normal suburban area) and I’m just so stuck.
I feel like 3 homes a row is too much space being wasted. There’s so much more I do want to do with my island.

@devout birch if you don't want to go through the pain of resetting your game and resetting everything including getting everything all over again go for it, but just take time and education and remodel. i remolded today and it was worth it because i was very close to resetting. it takes hours but again it's your island, if you don't like something change it 🙂 make it perfect to ur liking

@woven drift You do not have to have a theme, just go with the look you like. I started with my entrance, then continued with my museum and now I'm working on my resident service center. I work on my island like on a puzzle. Either it works or not, you cannot do anything wrong :)

@fathom nest there are some places on my island where i desperately want a bridge but don't want to widen my river. i widen it only at the bridge part, then chisel the river away as close as possible and add bushes/fencing to make up for the difference. not sure if that bothers you but it works for me

@drifting light this is my entrance. My resident services is literally at the doorstep. You can see it on the right lol. Just kind of make a winding path and add flowers and trees and diys along it. Maybe add some little waterfalls as you walk out of the airport.
I still need to add a few blue hyacinths and I’m going to be putting lily of the valleys on the cliff parts at the front when I finally get five stars
