you can use diff types of fences depending on the exterior look of your villager's house! but yes you can just stick to one if it suits your theme better. Experiment and try one and then try using different types

@quasi galleon yeah I found just carving out single width paths to be helpful. And curvy for sure! Covering the sides of the path with trees/bushes/flower clutter also really helps make them feel hidden

Ok I have an idea that might turn out cool but I need some help. so I found out Genji‘s aspiration is to be a politician and Gaston’s is to be an oil tycoon so I decorated the outside of their houses to match that. however I paired the houses side by side with a big gap in the middle and a single money tree. what I want to do is make it look like they’re fighting each other from across their lawns for ownership of the tree, so I used some barbed wire fence and tourist telescopes so far but I don’t know which items to put in the middle to give it the appearance of a fight. any suggestions?
