I think I want to transition it to more of a planned, compact flower area but there are already a bunch of parks/sitting areas around here so I have to do something different. I can’t decide between forest-y(which doesn’t make much sense with where it’s located) or something else. I have also considered maybe having little back yards for the shops, maybe like an energy generation area..? It’s so awkwardly shaped. 😦

this got brought up yesterday but you don't need the rivers to lead back into the ocean. there are plenty of examples of even a random waterfall somewhere and the tiny river it has leads no where. it simply dries up until it rains again so you can get very fancy with your water terraforming without worrying about the river exits on any layout

@icy tulip yep, I used to go on a ton of family hikes when I was growing up and we went through a bunch of random small rivers that were probably caused by just nature.. being nature. Not even close to a huge body of water or even a lake. Sometimes just a random waterfall with barely a river at the end, heck sometimes it only had like a half of a circle at the base of the waterfall. Nature is random and beautiful

If i had terraformed my entire island would have it been better? probably yes, but for me atleast one of the fun parts of the game is use what you were given, so if they gave you those rivers shape, you should keep them (my opinion)

Went back to do a night of fishing to farm the fishing tourney items and wasted about 30 bait to start with because I'd lost the muscle memory to fish properly.

@unkempt wigeon good point! although at the start after I unlocked terraforming I already changed them and made them look ugly and I don’t like how my east river is so close to my resident services :((
@thick trout I changed them too just to be able to build bridges, and I added a second floor on the middle of the isle to do a gym area

@thick trout I recomend you putting bridges on paths that you usually do to avoid using the vaulting pole

Museum is smaller (from the outside) since it’s taller than it. But you can also put the statue inside your house, so from floor to ceiling you’ll have some 17ft of room space
