what i do when im down on my island is i take one section and take inspo from an image i REALLY loved and create it. even if it's only one section it makes me really happy with my island and then proceed to work on another area the same way! @rapid fog

@floral frost furniture definatly helps. I want to start terraforming, but my resident services is upgrading today. A combination of furniture (craftable and non-craftable) flowers, trees, and inclines/bridges really help. Good luck!

@junior seal it's probably to late now but just wanted to offer my own experience with resetting. i decided to take a break from the game and went out looking for maps i liked (both mini map based AND gameplay cause mini maps only tell you a small scale of the map) and after about 1-2 weeks i noticed i saved mainly south river exit maps over the other 2 so i went with that. make sure you figure out what you want, don't let someone else decide for you
