@rocky wave it looks good so far! I think it helps to start somewhere, like your home, the entrance, or the villager areas and then go from there. Take it one step at a time and let the natural forms of the island do some of the work lol

@proper grove tbh that's what i originally did, but the only thing i would warn you about is that you may accidentally use up too much space for some villagers. i've been left with about 30-40% of the map and found i couldn't use it for my other villagers, so i'm on my 7th re-terraform hahaha. finally with a full plan to follow

I still need to add the majority of the river back in... just trying to figure out if I should do that first, or the houses first.

I just want to say hi and say that ever since this channel existed, y'all changed my ACNH experience! So many amazing designs here that I got inspired to work hard as well to have an amazing island. I published an island tour video before, and that made some difference in my ACNH life. I've been getting sweet messages and comments from strangers ever since that I never thought would follow me, and later I would be friends with. In these trying times, we stayed connected and positive thru this game, our creativity still intact but ever-evolving. Sorry for the mushy message, but I just want to say I appreciate everyone here. looks amazing! I have a quick tip: you could replace the starfragments with nova-clocks! they are smaller than the novalights but a little big bigger than the fragments but they are a placable item so you dont have to worry about them getting stolen!

Initially this ruin was going to to just take up some dead space on the 3rd level of the island. But then I stole an incline from the coastal village, made the ruin span two floors and subsequently created a shortcut to the museum. It's now much easier to do a loop around the north-west side of the island :).
