Im so bad at explaining, but I’m thinking of raising a lot of the 1st level of the island into the 2nd level and then leaving some areas 1st level to shape out landscape or put shops/homes in need be. I’m eventually gonna have the 3rd level be heavy forests where some houses or the campsite can go

My personal thoughts on resetting. Only do it if you want to switch hemisphere (which I did since we have 2 Switches + AC) or if you're unhappy with the location of plaza and airport.

I think if you even are thinking about resetting then you should just do it because anyone who is way too deep in to reset won’t even think about it 😂

@formal gyro What I'm doing now, I start around the plaza. Check where I want to have the shops, line it up with roads to determine how I want it.
From there on, I look at where I want a home/stall/park etc and then I see how I can connect that with a path in my personal preference style (mostly straight and as efficient as possible when running lol)

Lemme tell you the work I had to do
I first tried clearing off my island before I had the terraformer
(Removed all the plants n trees)

then I was like “oh. I needed those for my town rating”

So I spent a week IRL trying to get 3 star using as little plants n trees as possible before saying “fuck it,” buying 90 trees and planting them all

I then had to get the terraformer, uproot everything AGAIN, and then start tearing down my island.

I spent HOURS making a 25x25 mountain only to tear it down much later

After some time, my island looked like this:

it'll sadly be a while cause i'm only about 5 days into my island now but i'm excited this time around because i have a major theme and ideas how to do it now

Additionally, I figured out how to make small octagon shaped islands to harbor unreachable coconut trees

i'm a bit crazy - i deleted 2 islands (one which was roughly 20 days old) and my first island because i was influenced by other peoples opinions of stuff and didn't truly know what i wanted so i took a break after my second deletion and figured out what i wanted.. i noticed i was saving a ton of stuff with RS / airport lining up and double south river (both things i thought i didn't want) and in the end i figured out i -wanted- the things i thought i disliked xD .. we are talking 450+ hours down the drain but i wouldn't trade it for the world cause now i'm on an island i know i want for my own personal taste @blazing whale
