@remote belfry I don't have a map to show because it's in progress, but it helps to think about the npc characters. I'm doing a small neighborhood for the peppy social villagers, and distancing any cranky loners off in the woods or on a private beach

also @fleet root you can terraform a separate place with a couple waterfalls on the third layer for decoration. Adding stone or brick would be an ideal solution too

@wet ore maybe for one, thin out the cliff a bit. Make it looks more natural rather than some circular blob at the front. You could line the path with hedges, add a waterfall and tree cliff (with flowers of course to match your theme colors.) you could also add an array of decorative items to make it pop- fountains, lucky cats, purple and black roses(I’ve seen looks really good with that wood.)
If you need more inspiration, you can always search up island entrances online, or watch those ‘five star island tours’ to see the things they are doing. Hope this helps!

If you don’t like how the two colors collide, you should add a ‘barrier’ of a fountain or fence (of whatever your theme path is)

@frosty spruce I would use a different path- maybe of natural and ‘misplaced’ planks / rocks. It looks too blocky. Also, you could add more decor- a sandy bay with maybe sand designs, more colored flowers that make it pop, and/or different variety of potted plants

something to think about before resetting is your dead account stays on your friends' lists. Theres no way to get rid of it, so if you come back with the same name they'll always have two of you, if you re-add them.

It looks good so far, but if you are going for a forest type of island, you'll want to throw dirt paths in somewhere on the island to help with the natural look (like pathways between trees and such). Take that as you will
