A tip! Black and pink flowers take about five days to start blooming. Get white and red roses on an area you don’t care about and then, you use it to grow those flowers to use for the rest of the island

@grizzled hinge maybe make your rivers a little bit thinner around resident services and remove the little part on the left side and put a mountain/waterfall around it instead. the main entrance to resident services could be coming from the south but there could be a secret entrance coming from the left side in between the cliff

@hybrid vigil maybe try to give the villagers their own little yards, make little gathering areas like by that pond or in blank spaces. use lots of fences to make it feel less open, which is a good thing in this case because it is a neighborhood. make areas that would probably be in a normal neighborhood, like a playground. Hope that helps!

Well, uniqueness can be overrated too though. Some people take pleasure in putting objects together to make them look like something else, and that’s a valid hobby and sometimes ends up looking really good, but tbh sometimes it also looks like random stuff pushed together for the sake of forced creativity. The measure of how “good” your town should be how much you, the owner, likes it.
