One idea I NEVER understood they didn't put in. Gates. Gates that can only be opened by the host villager. So access to areas can be locked and unlocked for island visitors

My islands going for a TV studio set look, so my villagers homes aren't being treated as a neighborhood as much as trailers on a set. So fairly spaced out

@signal phoenix best use for third tier imo is to wrap around buildings that are on the second tier. adds visual interest, extra space for planting, opportunity for waterfalls, etc

Each island has 10 villagers each so maybe on each petal have 2 villagers each to make it closer and more connected

@barren karma either break it up witha a bench or table or stall in the middle. add a customized manhole. you could also ass a few hedges in the middle with said benches and make it a nice sitting area. If you have spare fossils you can set it up there as a kind of statue. or use one of the spare art works from Redd. There's alot you can do. but ti all depends on what kind of style you want it to be

It's easiest to start designing if you figure out what features you want your island to have and then picking one feature to work on first, then working the rest of the features around the first feature when you finish it
