A useful tip: when you get terraforming, try to flat out your island as much as possible. It'll be much easier to get inspiration and ideas with a blank slate. Also, nothing is ever set in stone. I swore I wasn't gonna move my houses, but now I'm moving everything hehe...

Have Hedge fences that are endcapped with shrubs.
To keep it as symmetrical as possible ensure that the shrubs used on either side are identical.

I personally have a mind to suggest you try to plant all 4 so you get blooms in all 4 seasons - occurring further north or south of the center depending on which season.

Ok so my TV studio island is built up of sets for shows etc for my villagers.

• Entrance to Security & Curt's house
• leads to a red carpet entrance
• enter over bridge onto "The screen" of the map. Player house designed as a tv studio gift shop, gallery, info desk etc.
• town hall roped off as a set to the right.
• Kyle's house with a film editing "backyard" room and leading to a "music channel" stage to the right.
• Abel's and nooks on a city street set
• news room for Olivia on right of town hall, may extend another set from her house to include an audition room
