you can divide your island up in 4 sections with 4 diff themes, you could make your island in 2, you could have a whole theme

you can forget themes and just focus on one area like an entrance

tbh i think of island designing sorta like sims 4 house designing for me (and sims 3 was more than just houses cause you could do more there but anyway) - look up some inspiration on here, google, pinterest,instagram, twitter, ect then see if it gets your creativity brain working. i only got decent at making houses in the sims 4 by taking real life houses as inspiration and translating that into my own version of it in the game and i'll be doing that in this game as well with stuff
