Preliminary design idea for my island

Took forever but finally managed to make a rough layout I like. I haven't decided what to do with my residents' houses. Small clusters in themed areas is cute, but makes it hard to find who is DIY. Possible ideas include 5 down each side in my blank areas near the W/E beaches. One neighborhood near the back. Two clusters of 5 near the back.

The trees around the back aren't decided yet either. Thoughts? Input?

@swift stag I use dirt paths to plan the house positions, and then literally decorate those dirt paths so that when I get the house moving kit I can see it in place fully decorated and adjust before spending the bells and the 1 day delay.

@woven drift I have fences surrounding the perimeter of the neighbourhood and nothing else on the inside. Each house gets a tiny area for their yard so the fencing will consume too much of it. Plus it looks more open without fencing. It really looks like a friendly neighbour haha 🤣
