I’ve noticed that if you currently have a villager moving in, and you already have another plot available, you won’t find another villager until that one moves in fully. That’s what I got from it as I tried to move my last neighbour in from a mystery island and no one was there, but I had someone moving in currently

@woven drift Rocks cant spawn next to a fence, so I went around the part of the undeveloped section of my island and placed single fences in this pattern:

Until there were no more spawning spaces left. Rocks can spawn directly next to custom tiles, paths, flowers and weeds. I only left those 6 spaces free ( 3 in each chunk (B5 and B6)):

@versed wadi hmm.. it doesn’t seem to fit the aesthetic you’re going for. I’d plant some red bushes (hibiscus?) under the window and behind the park clock. I’d also swap out the white biotrope planters for the terra-cotta color. And add a cedar tree around where the right stall is

Thank! I'm making my whole island wildlife conservation themed. There's going to be a butterfly conservatory area with all my hybrids and breeding projects, as well as lots of bug models, a mountainous region, the wetlands I mentioned earlier, and an area for the museum where there are lots of pits dug out and covered in dirt path so that it looks like a paleontology dig site
And all the areas are going to be surrounded in conifer trees to make my whole island a forest
I just don't know what to do for my shops and plaza haha

I have a zigzagging area too, and Idk if your area is supposed to be natural or more industrial but I layed only a couple fences down. I personally think cluttering the entire area with fences looks awful so i broke it up a little

uh the only thing that uses bells really are moving houses and building bridges or inclines
to decorate you really only need flowers, trees, pathing and some outdoor furniture you can craft, and terraforming is just at the end game but its free @radiant lynx
