Not trying to be mean but non of the islands that have been posted here are good. You guys just don't Take the time you need. Putting down paths and placing fences isnt enough. If you don't know what to Put in a certain area, make it smaller... Also... Don't make everything symmetrical. It looks elegant but has no personality. If you encounter a problem, work around it...
Literally no island has impressed me. Take... Ur... Time. Care about every item you place!

@blissful socket Als erstes würde ich das Kliff rechts unten beim Weg kleiner machen und irgendwas mit Wasser machen. Sodass man den Weg entlang geht und dann Wasser entdeckt. Zur linken wäre die Treppe die dann wiederrum nach oben führt... Vllt den Weg und die Brücke Holziger machen? Das Grau sticht sich mit dem Braun.

Hows my layout? the really wide paths are a dirt border that I have flowers on, the large chunks are wooden plazas, a cafe and pool. The chunk in the east is a farm for hybrid breeding. Museum has a little outside exhibit and campsite has well, camp stuff.

@thorn kestrel what I did personally was figure out my house placement first and just build like my ideal yard/homestead thing first and work from there, if you know what you like in terms of where you wanna live, it's a lot easier to get the creativity flowing

@thorn kestrel yeah I feel like when it's that close it's better if it lines up better but it could be worse.. overall I think medium distance is probably the most vers (one cell, but not more than 2) away from the airport + not in the majority of the 9 center cells of the map (in case someone ever wanted to do a central big design for their map)

Yes they do. As long as the water is there you can bridge over the water in the cliffs. The water isn't level 1 there.

@dusk nexus idk if anyone answered your question already but while trees are still growing, they need at least 2 squares of empty space in every direction because they take up weird spaces while still young. Otherwise they won't grow. However, if you move these out and let them grow fully, you can move them back in as adults and they should be able to get packed that densely ^^

My other idea was connecting them like the beginning of the game- just behind my resident services and putting a bridge to my villager's houses. I would think that river mouth fish would just spawn in the river I didn't get rid of lol. I have the same river mouth placements as you, so I only made about 3 "stepping stones" but it worked out for me
