you can use the happy island designer to quickly plan out your house and the fencing and the paths to make sure its in the right place

also with the positioning the position of the house will be rather lopsided, which can be fine if you want to put some items next to it like maybe an outside work-bench (I would recommend doing so, it's nice to craft outside rather than having to go to your house and craft)
