1 whole day of wiping everything flat starting from scratch, 2 days of terraforming cliffs, rivers & moving buildings/houses, 2 days of laying out paths, and tomorrow hopefully the last day of moving all my flowers from the beach to the land to decorate the rest of the island. @grand marsh personally, i like the bottom more as it makes the neighborhood look a bit closer together and im not a fan of how in the second pic, the 2 villager houses to the bottom seem to be left out a bit. I have a lot of facilities planned for my village and so this opinion may be bias btw as im looking myself to not use too much space for my villagers although I do want space for them.

Hey, when you guys design a map, how do you take into count 2nd and 3rd levels? I was thinking to just do C-E as 1st level and B as 2nd with some 3rd level in the half of it. But now I'm feeling more to do B as 3rd, C as 2nd, and D-E as 1st to give more space to the dimension of the island.

I completed a full rebuild of my map and it's so satisfying! One of the best investments in this game. I try to plank or do pushups while I terraform to stay active since it takes so many hours.

For those of you getting into the "Happy Island Designer" site/app and having trouble to understand where to make your basics in it. I went ahead and smoothed everything out to the nearest pixel for the flat of land every island comes to so making pixel adjustments to line up your rivers and such are easier for even if its your first time using it.

That's their 100%. You're only at 10% or 20% of your island. Take your time, and you'll eventually get to their point.
