@woven drift me too. I was like oh it will just expand to more pages as you fill up the slots. It makes no sense. Why would there be a cap on that? The switch can definitely handle more cpu memory usage than that.

I would recommend gravestones, maybe some of the little war flags (forgot what they were called lmao), some fossils that don't have a platform (like the ones that are only patterns on rocks), and stone lanterns @oblique cliff

There's not really any good ways to do angled bridges. you can do stepping stone style or use custom patterns to make it kinda match the angle of the bridge but that's about it really...

I like the air-y feel of the red fencing, but I think what I don't like about it is the part in the front where it goes sorta diagonal and keeps changing directions. Since in those areas it puts the posts closer together and makes it feel sorta cramped and awkward

@woven drift You could put flowers or decorations on the waterfall, I've seen that some of the shell decorations look good for stuff like that but it depends on what aesthetic you want to go for

I think those streetlamps may get in the way as well if you're looking to decorate further. I'd consider dropping a few and putting in some places to sit and enjoy the view

I'm not sure what I'd do with that myself without seeing it. Nothing wrong with a good ol' fashioned forest though! It'd give this path in front of your house a nice backdrop

grab a bunch of your trees and plant them in the corner of your island or something for now
that's most probably the quickest way, also ask friends for help lolol
usually it only takes a good 15-20mins or so to clean an entire acre, just keep at it!

on cliffs, you can cover practically the entire pixel! but on ground, there's still a small edge of grass. That's why my wood path looks so weird in the bottom pic !! i think if we made a "lake town" on cliffs it might actually work!!

i just wanna let u know, if u wanna extend your play time with this game, dont be attached to your "finished" island. you should change the theme to challenge yourself. if you stick with one and dont want to touch it because your island is"perfect", you will get bored of the game real quick when theres nothing to do.

@timber relic im gonna be 100% honest, i think it's pretty cool, but you gotta remember that there is a limited amount of bridges/inclines you can make. so try to use them only where its really necessary imo
otherwise if you like the bunny island design, more power to ya! it's cool

yeah it can be extremely daunting to just go at it without planning in terms of sections.
the idea is to have certain projects in mind such as:
shopping area, forest area, orchard, neighborhood, campsite, cafe/restaurant, hot springs, etc.
once you have your ideas down, get a piece of paper or use the island designer website to lay it out.
shopping districts should be near the town hall since you have quick access to ABD for example. Functional towns are important as well!
Just keep going at it and you should be fine!
