@last drift i like the spiral concept! something you might realize while creating it is that you're going to have a lot of empty plots of land, so have some ideas ready for those! that was something that i want prepared for and then i had to move a bunch of buildings around 😩. otherwise it looks good! who's gonna live in the isolated house? gahaha

@brazen mulch it's hard ngl. LOL you have to be really clever with grids so if u have a particular shape in mind try mapping it out on a grid first. then, like pathing you can smoothen out edges

@quasi relic I wouldn’t move them all to the second level just bc that’s further from the airport, less convenient for guests. Tho I can see your house is all the way in the back so I guess moving them up would be better for you... in my town I have a section of dense buildings and I decorated it like a city, that’s what you could do on the first level, then on the second / third you could have your campsite + decorations, more rural decorations, a flower breeding area, picnic areas, maybe a solar/wind farm etc etc.

I think it all depends on how far you’re happy to run to get to your house. North west/up top would look great but then you’d be running the distance of the island to get to it. Central is a little bit closer to everything on the island and you’d have more space surrounding your house to decorate.
I’d personally chose north west and build in a third level. Only because I want to personally keep the waterfalls for the shops/museum and keep my house looking a little bit more humble.
