@left turret The rare butterflies only spawn near purple flowers I think, so if you bring some of those flowers back to your island you can set up your own spawning location. Don't need that many but maybe 5-10 is plenty, can fill the rest up with fish n stuff

I personally decided mostly on river mouths, little grass area, and dock and didn’t care about the rest. I too regret the resident services close to the airport, but it makes it nice for a little hub for online play. I also considered a larger start area so I wouldn’t get claustrophobic

Honestly would just reshape it a bit to make it more circular, bring up that awkward dip in the middle and get rid of the pond if you want to keep it more similar to what you have and not make it too uniform
