For my whole life I've been in an abusive and controlling family, everyone praised my sister's for the smallest feats and when I tried my best to compete all I would receive is a slap in the fast and a good screaming at, in recent years I've been working nonstop trying to move out but after every little thing I do, a million obstacles get put in my way and I can never see the peak of this mountain I'm climbing, I'm tired and exhausted of everything. I can't enjoy things like I used to, even with friends and loved ones I feel alone and forbidden to be happy. I can't even buy myself small things without everyone having a piss-fit and destroying my room trying to find my money that I earned out of my own time

You have all the potential in the world regardless of all the obstacles. I’m so sorry your parents are the way they are, I’d imagine trying to talk to them is hard enough. But you have potential. And goals. And you’re at a turning point where you can take this sadness and anger and turn into fuel for your goals and the future. If you want something. You can have it. And take every opportunity you can because you deserve it. Life can be shitty. It can be fucking hard where you’re standing at the edge and you just want to say bye to it all. But in years to come you’re gonna look back and see that you’ve came out a strong, beaver and better person because of the challenges now. It’s not easy. But I promise on my heart it is worth it

My mother passed away in August (we are estranged by 5 years) and when I refused to attend her funeral I was made to be the bad guy, but what people must understand is even those who have not spoken to someone for so long still grieve, we all cope in our own ways.
