very true. @bronze swallow your best option right now is to reorder the correct size, give the company a good window to respond about the incorrect/damaged dress (7-10 business days), and if you don't hear back or you don't like what you hear, have your mom file a chargeback.

even things like misrepresented sizing is a reason for a chargeback. document it all. take screenshots of the incorrect sizing on the website, measure the dress if you can. they may not need it all, but it will help render a decision quicker
