Ah, you can trade for bells in all of the trade channels depending on what you're offering in return, and sometimes people host mystery gifts and giveaways. Or sometimes people offer free bells for guests in #island-hangouts🛩️🏝️ can't ask for free things here (to deter trolls) but people offer free stuff all the time :)
