Ehh reasonable. Meanwhile I think I just conditioned myself to answer to Yato or Yatty even with new school policies where teachers and staff have to respect if the students want to be called by their preferred name instead of their government first name. I mean sure i've met a couple peers who were disrespectful and refused to call me by my preferred name being like "I aint gonna call you shit unless you change it at city hall or it becomes your government signed and sealed first name"

Plus I kinda have a history of like a cultural/personal disconnect with my first name and just like two separate identities in a way? Like I'm more confident within myself as Yatty than when I'm in my government name.

I started a new island when the switch 2 came out, now with the update coming out in January my brain is having an argument with its self about restarting again as I’m not really that far. But start it on the 1st of January so I have all Nook Miles achievements in 2026. I wondered if anyone else was restarting or if anyone could talk me out of it 🥺

i restarted back in 2023 and honestly i miss my old island so much!!! but after hours and hours and HOURS of learning how to terraform and really play the game, im loving my new island. sometimes it can be worth flattening the island or clearing out all the decorations rather than restarting completely but it depends on if you want new river openings and a whole new layout xx

remember early game takes SO long to complete if you’re doing it without time travelling x
