• Can I choose who the Amiibo villager kicks out?
Yes, just make sure you've spoken to that villager at least once and their house isn't currently being relocated.

Yes. You can sell to Nooks Cranny, but to no other npc or villager. The only way I know of doing so, is if you DM them. No, HHP villagers and the main game villagers aren't connected in any way (except some minor things if the villager lives on your island and has a vacation home, they won't show up to HHP work when they are sick for example)

You can use amiibo cards to invite them to the campsite (you get to choose who to kick out if you have 10 villagers), spawn them in Photopia and unlock their posters and to build them houses in in HHP.

The same applies to NPC cards, except the campsite part and that if you build them a vacaction home in HHP, you also get a photo of that NPC

IIRC it works like this; you are standing on the arrow and facing the way it's pointing. You water once. Blue crosses mark tiles watered with normal can, and yellow crosses mark tiles watered with golden can. but both better cans water the tile you are standing on.

I'm not too knowledgeable about time traveling backwards while villagers are moving out, apologies AFAIK all this kind of stuff that happens when the day changes is registered during Isabelle's morning announcement, which doesn't happen when traveling backwards IIRC, but it's still generally safer to not travel backwards/reset the date until a new villager has moved in.

You need to have an empty plot in order to invite a new villager. So you would need to wait til tomorrow or tt ^^

Since you are making a rock garden, I'd assume you've spawn blocked all other spawnable places than the ones in your garden? If there are tall items or cliffs IIRC 4 tiles in front of them or closer, they'll block the rock(s) from spawning, which might make the rocks you broke completely unable to spawn at the moment

Not 100% sure about the gifting mechanics but you can always have them move out and find new copies of the villagers. Or you can have people foster them

A great way to see which clothing villagers can wear (and how they look in it) is to go to Harv's Island, where all clothing catalogued by the player will be available for modelling on their villagers (and amiibos scanned in.)

you can't share an island online, one switch one island, however you can punctually visit. you can make the villager's home only if you also own and have progressed enough in the DLC. Each villager has their own tastes, likes and dislike so the base game is for you to learn their tastes and quirks

yup next plot is the camper (mandatory camper), and he'll be the lastest villager; once he is properly moved in (as in no longer in boxes moving in) they can ask to move out
