You can replace the current design with one of yours (can be something simple), complain to Isabelle again (to be safe), then have another player come and report the design and it should go back to the default. After that it should be gone

On your own its not possible. Once they move away they get their normal houses back. So if they ask to move you can have someone hold onto them, then kick them out again and give the villager back to you. That way they retain their memory of you (and I believe friendship level is remembered too) and you'll get their normal house

When you're hunting for the first three villagers after your starter villagers, I know that you can only find three personality types and once you take one villager of one personality type, only the other two types show up.

However, is there something similar going on with species? I'm looking for just cats, and I know there are cats in every personality type but they don't seem to show up after taking home Rosie as my first villager. Anyone got ideas? Or just me having bad luck?

Whereas if you wanted Zucker (an octopus and there's only 3 octopus right now) you'd have an easier time finding him on an island

You can get pocket upgrades! The max pocket size is 40. To get the other pocket upgrades, you need to: Pay off your Nook Miles loan, then purchase it at the Nook Stop for 5,000 miles for 30 slots
and then for 40 slots: Complete the 3 plots quest, upgrade Resident Services into a building, then purchase it at the Nook Stop for 8,000 miles.
Once you do those two things you can get the pocket organisors from the nook miles redemption service!

Im about to reset my island (Haven't played since launch, hated my house placement, never even unlocked landscape, and hated my villagers)
Just wondering if there's anything I should know.
I do have a few questions about reseting though
1 - Can I move my house after placement (I plan on building a nice hill and putting my house on it later)
2 - Can I move my villagers houses after they move in?
3 - Is there a way to stop my villagers from ever leaving? If I buy these sanrio cards and then one of them moves out I might cry.

Villagers won't leave unless you give them permission. They can ask to leave but if you say no, they stay

No I saved the day I was playing, tt one month. Then one day at a time after that and would go another month ahead after going day to day for 20 days

Is there any reason why my last rock won't spawn here? I left it like this for 5 days or so with the 5 rocks there and the last rock didn't spawn. I've checked the whole island for the last rock and couldn't find it until today when I left open a spot in this same acre and then it did spawn in that spot. So is there any reason why the rock won't spawn in that particular empty spot in this image?

That sounds fine then, but instead of jumping a month after 20 days you can honestly just go back to irl time and restart the method. You can also skip Saturdays, if that saves time.

Aside from that, you don't seem to be doing anything wrong. How long do you spend looking for move-out bubbles, are you targeting a specific villager, and what time are you looking for the bubbles?

The bamboo tree is blocking it, it blocks 4 tiles behind even on cliffs. Remove it temporarily, then place it back once the rock has spawned.

If you usually check around 1 pm and don't have much luck, try 5 pm instead. Skip Saturdays, make sure the target has been talked to and isn't the last one to have moved in.

I have 7 villagers I want to move out, so if any one of them has a bubble I'd talk to them. I just tt ahead the one day, open the game, run to my neighborhood where all the houses are and give a little run by each of the houses areas then over to the plaza. Takes about 5 minutes in total

Yeah you're doing everything right from what I can tell. The only thing I could think to advise at this point is to spend a little longer looking for bubbles, as they don't always have them immediately upon boot-up.

Most of my bubbles happen at the plaza or weirdly at the beach south of the plaza, which is about two grid squares away.

And yes, I also enter RS and leave again, which can make it pop up.

Yes, I'm just saying it might be a good idea to check away from the plaza a bit when you have absolutely no luck, since the guide says to basically just check houses and plaza and reset if you can't find anyone in a minute. I'm not specifically saying run and check on a beach. Point was how far away it was.
RS entering and leaving is for the same reason kel mentioned spending more time, I find that sometimes the bubble doesn't seem to spawn until I load back out into the world. Easy to just do that real quick, especially if you have a bunch of villagers walking around near RS.

Yeah so don't put the plots down on the same day, and if you have ever played with anyone else, you will get the plot autofilled the day after you put it down if you have not invited a villager before then.

If you have never met anyone, Nook will eventually autofill with a personality you don't have.

So you'll never believe this. But I tt back to current day (plus one tho cuz it's saturday) and someone had a thought bubble! I talked to them, suggest they move, saved and closed the game. Then I tt ahead 2 days to have the plot open. Isabelle says 'today he is leaving make sure to say goodbye' I think ok whatever I'll go say bye then. I check his house and the door is locked and it says "I'm fast asleep"..... at 8am. WAT

I saved n tt ahead one more day fingers crossed that was a glitch and the plot is open
